At a time when it is difficult for the citizens of this country to get even their daily necessities due to the travel restrictions imposed by the government to control the spread of covid-19, the focus was on enabling tourists to visit Sri Lanka by reactivating the tourism bubble concept.
The concept was introduced earlier this year to revive the adversely affected tourism industry. Selected tourists from certain countries are allowed to visit the approved tourist destinations on time without having to go through a 14-day quarantine period.
