The main person involved in the smuggling of nearly 220 kilograms of heroin has been identified in Weligama.

Eleven suspects arrested in connection with the incident were produced before the Matara Magistrate's Court and remanded for 7 days for questioning.
In addition to the 11 suspects, two more suspects have been arrested in Kottegoda and Dickwella.
